UC Davis Enology graduate Edward Cholakian has been able to gain a tremendous amount experience in all aspects of winemaking and wine production while getting to work along side world-renowned winemakers, which proved to be invaluable. Some of his past experience comes from premium wineries like Cakebread Cellars, Chateau St Jean, Monterey Wine Company, Fetzer Vineyards; as well as consulting and producing for over 30 wineries within California. Kari has over 10 years of Alcohol Compliance experience and has served as the compliance guru (nerd) for large and boutique wineries, and local compliance companies as well. She is committed to LDT clients; if it pertains to manufacturing, wholesaling or retailing alcohol (all types) she will license it, report it, manage it and handle it in lighting speed. This will be Alex’s second harvest with LDT. Prior to that he was working with a local vineyard management company where he was able to learn all aspects of viticulture first hand. Also in his past he was able to learn from the winemaker at Sculpterra where he held the position of Assistant Winemaker. Cloud is new to the wine industry, however was former college roommates with our winemaker Edward. He was able to see Edward early on in his career and witnessed a few fermentations on their apartment patio closet. Years later Cloud got the winemaking itch and decided to move to Paso Robles to learn the ins and outs of the wine industry. We look forward to having Cloud as a part of the LDT family.
